Some Photos from Corciano

The bell tower in town. They light up the city at night.
From where I am staying I look over towards town.

The trail from the Monastery where I stay down to Corciano. We have a large area of olive trees, a garden and a nice courtyard .

One of the small streets in town. I was impressed by how
well kept everything is. A big part of the village
and also the place I am staying date back to the 14th century.

From the top of the wall surrounding town looking towards
the monastery. Perugia; a larger city is about 25
minutes away. Also close by is Assisi and Cortona.
It seems there is another quaint medieval town
 in every direction.

I am hoping the next posting will be paintings more than photos.

Looks wonderful. I'd love to make it out to Italy sometime and get some riding and climbing in. Beautiful landscapes and architecture as well. There's so much personality in those old towns. Can't wait to see some work too. Cheers, it was nice to finally meet you properly at the memorial. Take care.

Yes I am psyched to be here. The online teaching is a time consuming distraction, but I try to make it work. I am hoping the work gets better as time goes by. Hoping to have a descent body of work when I get get back. Need to get into more galleries. That means oil I'm afraid...
