A new watercolor that started out as an example for my Illustration 2 students. I am using a faceted shapes approach and then painting some on top. Colors could be more unified. I am hosting a drawing event at the academy on Halloween where the theme will be Circus or Carnival. Visual brainstorming here.

PS. Fashion costumed clothed figure workshop tomorrow afternoon from 11am to 3pm at Brannan. Even if the costumes are not interesting.. fashion students usually are wearing something interesting. ;)

Thank you. Yeah; the costume carnival was a success. The models did a wonderful job and the students had fun. Will do it again in the spring.
